Eccentric heavily bearded US trained professor has denied pulling out of the Presidential race in support of Raila Amolo Odinga just three days before 21 million Kenyans go to polls to elect fifth president in a peaceful change of guard.

Prof. George Wajackoya of the Roots Party of Kenya has denied supporting Odinga of the Azmio la umoja currently leading in the presidential opinion polls.

Wajackoya, 62, vowed to battle top the finish line having enjoyed a milk run with his controversial bizarre ideas of exporting bhang, snake and dog meat to China to help offset the huge external debt burden now standing at Kshs 9 trillion.

Wajackoya’s high rating initially has since plummeted after word went round that he was a “state project” crafted to eat into the “hustler” numbers of deputy president William Ruto, 57, of Kenya Kwanza.

Political watchers have pointed at the largely youthful supporters that Wajackoya had swayed were also the “hustlers” who form the core of Ruto’s support base across the country mainly in the popolous central Kenya rural and peri-urban centres.

But Ruto appears to have since cancelled Wajackoya gains through relentless forays into mount Kenya backed by his Kikuyu running-mate from Nyeri Nderitu Gachagau widely seen as more a member of the house of Mumbi than Kirinyanga-born M/S Martha Karau Odinga’s fire-brand running-mate.

President Uhuru Kenyatta, 62, who steps down next week when his two term constitutional tenure expires, has openly declared support for Odinga saying Ruto would be the wrong man to succeed him.
