She Cranes Duo Ink for Singapore’s Deloitte

By Dorothy Nekesa

As Uganda netball continues to make its mark on the global stage, the She Cranes players too scroll their names on the global market wall. This year has seen two of the She Cranes’ standouts listed for a top outfit in Asia’s top competition.

Defender Faridah Kadondi and shooter Hanisha Muhammad kicked off 2026 with straight signings to Singapore’s Deloitte Netball Super League (NSL), a clear signal of the increasing taste for Ugandan talent abroad.

The duo will join their respective clubs from Round Two of the season, running from February 14 to March 29.

Kadondi has signed for Llabten, bringing with her the determination, versatility and composure that have become her trademark.

Comfortable at both goal defence (GD) and goal keeper (GK), she is known for her physical presence, sharp reading of the game and ability to organise the back line.

Her mark in Singapore will add to an expanding international résumé that already includes a stint with Nottingham Forest Netball Club in the United Kingdom.

Hanisha Muhammad on the other hand will feature for Mannas. Hanisha as a utility player will take on both goal shooter (GS) and goal keeper (GK)roles with tactical flexibility, strong aerial ability and swift execution under pressure.

She also seems with experience from playing with Surrey Storm in the British Super League, an advantage she takes to her new side.
The duo’s recruitment is part of a wider initiative by Netball Singapore, in partnership with Step Out 7, to introduce international players into the NSL from Round Two.

The programme aims to lift the league’s competitiveness while giving players valuable exposure across cultures and styles of play.
