Cheboi said food security strategies employed in Kiambu that include massive investments in agriculture through round the clock cultivation and availability of fertilizers and water, should be emulated by other counties.Mr. Kiara outlined wide ranging strategies that had informed the sector and ensured food security which also include setting up cooperative societies in all the 6 wards and turning municipalities into constituencies.Among this included giving out free seedlings to both men and women, growing avocado and other fruits, while boosting dairy and poultry farming.
