IT’S a triple championships lead for Moil rally team of Yasin Nasser and Ali Katumba after registering their maiden Tanzanian rally win.

The Ford Fiesta R5 driver currently leads three championships, including the continental( ARC), local championship(NRC), and Tanzanian one.

With a top notch response from their R5,the moil-sponsored crew swept clean of all five competitive stages of CMC Automobiles Sao Hill Forest rally, posting the fatest times.

The 2021 ARC runner up and ARC2 champions, shot at Tanzanian championship midway last year(2022),but didn’t get desired results in their Subaru GBV, thus went back on drawing board and plotted for 2023 season with new machine.

Nasser now leads Tanzanian championship with 30 points, followed by homeboys Gurpal Sandhu, Manveer Birdi in second and third positions with 24 and 21 points respectively.

“We have a tight rally schedule this year, and we planned better for it,” said Nasser, when asked about his running for three championships.

Next stop for the Moil-sponsored crew after CMC Kabalega rally(local), slated for 9th-11th June, which will run as third NRC round,is WRC safari rally Kenya running 22rd-25th June, before heading back to Tanzania for ARC round four in July,2023.

Will the Moil rally team achieve their triple title dream, you guess is as mine!
